Grooms Room

Welcome to the Carriage House

The Carriage House provides a range of meeting rooms and other facilities to the community of Pencaitland, the Lothians, and others requiring a quiet and well situated resource convenient for Edinburgh, the East Lothian beaches, and the Lammermuir hills.

The maple floored Groom’s room is 9 x 6 meters allowing 60 people seated for a presentation.

It will allow 40 people seated at tables for a meal.

There is a separate glazed door into the Courtyard allowing another seated area in good weather.

When the Carriage House is fully booked for a retreat or conference, groups often use the Groom’s room for plenary and use the other rooms for small group discussion/activities. The Vestry can also be booked as another meeting room.
